Spellcraft (INT)

Spellcraft determines your experience with magic - this skill is commonly used to identify spells and the properties of magical items.

A Spellcraft check is typically involved in the process of creating a magical item. See the Path of Artifice for more information.

You may ascertain the properties of a magic item by spending 3 rounds examining it, and making a Spellcraft check.

You may use Spellcraft identify a spell as it is being cast, or an ongoing spell effect.
