Resources
The Resources field displays the number of Trade Units you receive at character creation. You may want to spend your TU on armor, weapons, magical components, and any standard adventuring supplies. To this end, consider purchasing a Lifestyle with the funds, to avoid beginning the game as a penniless squatter on the streets.
Resources provides a number of proficiency points that can be used to unlock weapon and armor proficient Universal Talents. One point can be used for a specific weapon and 2 for a group. One may be spent on Armor or shield proficiency per tier of armor.
During character creation, you may buy items freely at their “standard” price, which is completely unaffected by the game world’s conditions such as supply and demand, and involves no haggling with merchants in turn. You may wish to take advantage of the “Character Creation Shoppe” in order to purchase things that are hard to find in-game!
