You convert material of one sort into a product that is of the same material. Creatures or magic items cannot be created or transmuted by the fabricate spell. The quality of items made by this spell is commensurate with the quality of material used as the basis for the new fabrication.

Fabricate contributes a number of worked hours on a craft after casting. You are counted to have instantly worked 1 hour for every 2 caster levels you possess. This can only be used on materials of a quality up to Common.

In some cases this can be used to harvest some materials at the GM's discretion.

You must make an appropriate Craft check to fabricate articles requiring a high degree of craftsmanship.
