Shadow Bloodline
Spirits from the shadow plane dally at times in the world of light, and such as these lay with your ancestors once upon a time, imparting the mystery of shadow-stuff into your lineage. You are often sullen and withdrawn, preferring to skulk at the fringes of social circles and keep to yourself, cultivating an air of mystery and majesty that is all your own.
Bloodline Skill: Stealth
Dweller in the Dark
Requirements: BaB or CL 1, Stealth 3, 10 EXP
Whenever you are within an area of magical darkness that you created, you are considered Invisible, as the spell Greater Invisibility. This is immediately lost upon the Darkness being dispelled or suppressed.
Clinging Shadows (Sp)
Requirements: Dweller in the Dark, BaB or CL 3, Stealth 5, 15 EXP
Any creatures except you within an area of magical darkness created by you are entangled until leaving the area of the spell. Your darkness spells are considered one tier higher than normal for the purpose of being countered by light spells.
Nighteye (Ex)
Requirements: Clinging Shadows, BaB or CL 5, Stealth 7, 20 EXP
You gain Darkvision 30 feet. At 9th level, you gain darkvision 60 feet. If you already possess darkvision, its range is increased by these amounts. You may now freely see through magical darkness which you have created, as if it were not there at all.
Shadow Well (Sp)
Requirements: Nighteye, BaB or CL 9, Stealth 10, 25 EXP
You can use the Stealth skill even while being observed, and without cover or concealment, as long as you are within 10 feet of a shadow other than your own. In addition, when within an area of darkness or dim light, as a move action you may choose to switch places with a willing ally within 60 feet, who must also be in darkness or dim light.
At CL/BaB 13, you can instead switch the positions of two willing allies, each of whom must be within 60 feet of you. This travel is otherwise identical to Dimension Door.
Enveloping Darkness (Sp)
Requirements: Shadow Well, BaB or CL 12, Stealth 15, 35 EXP
Any areas of magical darkness which you create now cause all creatures within to be slowed, as the spell Slow, until leaving the area, in addition to being entangled. Your darkness spells are considered two tiers higher for the purpose of being countered by light spells.
Shadow Master (Su)
Requirements: Enveloping Darkness, BaB or CL 15, Stealth 20, 50 EXP
You can see perfectly in any natural or magical darkness. When you use Shadow Conjuration or Shadow Evocation spells (or their variants), your creations are 20% more real, and any creatures you create gain the benefits of the Augment Summoning Talent. At will, you may surround yourself with a cloak of darkness, which grants you 50% concealment. Manifesting or dismissing the cloak is a free action.
