Marid Bloodline

You were born with the power of water genies, and the magic of the marids is strong in you.

Bloodline Skill: Knowledge (Planes)

Bloodline Arcana

Requirements: BaB or CL 1, Knowledge (Planes) 3, 5 EXP

Whenever you inflict damage to an enemy with a spell or attack, you may spend 1 MP/TP to change the damage type to cold.

Frosty Terrain (Sp)

Requirements: BaB or CL 3, Knowledge (Planes) 5, 9 EXP

As a Standard Action, you may spend 2 MP/TP to freeze the surface of a 30 ft diameter area that you can see. Creatures within the area must make a Reflex save (DC 10 + ½ your CL/BaB + your Primary Attribute modifier) or be slowed (as the spell Slow) for one round. Every round that creatures remain within the area, they must make another saving throw. This frozen terrain lasts for a number of rounds equal to your caster level.

Elemental Resistances (Ex)

Requirements: BaB or CL 5, Knowledge (Planes) 7, 15 EXP

You gain cold resistance 10. At CL/BaB 10, this increases to cold resistance 20.

Fury of the Waves (Sp)

Requirements: BaB or CL 9, Knowledge (Planes) 10, 27 EXP

Once per day, you may take the form of a Large water elemental, as if casting Elemental Body III. This form lasts for a number of rounds equal to your CL/BaB.

Swift As The River (Su)

Requirements: BaB or CL 15, Knowledge (Planes) 15, 45 EXP

You gain a swim speed of 90 feet. This speed boost applies when taking elemental form through Fury of the Waves.

Power of the Marid (Su)

Requirements: BaB or CL 20, Knowledge (Planes) 20, 60 EXP

You gain the power of genies to grant wishes. Once per day, you can cast Limited Wish as a spell-like ability. Such wishes must begin with the words “I wish,” and cannot duplicate a wish you have granted within the past 24 hours. If you use this ability to duplicate a spell with a costly material component, you must provide that component. You become immune to cold damage, and the swim speed granted by Swift As The River increases to 180 ft.
