Revenant Racial Talents
Lichling Talents
Chill Touch
- Requirements: Lichling, 25 Experience
As a Standard Action, you may touch a living creature (this is resolved as a touch attack) to inflict them with a terrible dread which paralyzes them. The creature must make a Fortitude save (DC 10 + your Hit Dice or Caster Level, whichever is greater), or be permanently paralyzed. Creatures who succeed on the save are paralyzed for one round. This is a supernatural effect which cannot be dispelled. Anyone paralyzed by this effect appears dead, though a suitable Heal check (made against the DC of your touch) or a Perception check (made against your touch DC + 5) reveals that they are alive.
Mage's Skull
- Requirements: Lichling, 20 Experience
Upon death, your skull now remains fully intact, and it may be freely transported as an object, weighing 5 lbs. Upon successful regeneration of your body, you reform from the location of the skull, rather than from your place of death.
Always Watching
- Requirements: Mage's Skull, 25 Experience
You now remain awake and aware in skull form, and you are capable of speaking accordingly. You may “play dead” at will, appearing as an inert, nonmagical, and not particularly interesting skull. You exude an aura of necromatic magic when “awake.” You may not cast spells or use Talents in this form, outside of special, GM-approved circumstances.
Lichling Manifest
- Requirements: Chill Touch, Always Watching, 30 Experience
You become a Lich in the true sense - you may now bind your “spawn point” to a single specific object of your choice, reappearing there upon death instead of the location you died in. The object may not be larger than a 10×10 ft. cube, but may otherwise be anything you wish. The object may be fortified, enchanted, stowed away, and other such actions as you see fit. The object permanently exudes a very strong necromatic aura, though this may be masked with suitable magical effects.
You may change the object you are bound to, through an uninterrupted 48 hour ritual - you may not perform any other tasks whilst working on this rebinding.
You may still choose to “spawn” from your fallen skull after selecting this Talent if you wish, though you must make this choice immediately upon death, and you cannot change your decision.
