Ratfolk Racial Talents

• Requirements: Ratfolk, BaB 1, 10 Experience

You have larger and sharper teeth than the average Ratfolk, and you may readily put them to use against your enemies. You gain a Bite attack which inflicts 1d4 points of damage.

• Requirements: Ratfolk, BaB 1, 20 Experience

Ratfolk, much like actual rats, are very good at running down their target and going for the ankles. A Ratfolk with this Talent never provokes Attacks of Opportunity when making the Charge action.

• Requirements: Ratfolk, Sleight of Hand 5, 20 EXP

Ratfolk are notorious for carrying about a disturbing amount of knick-knacks and garbage. With this Talent, you may add your total bonus to Sleight of Hand checks as pounds of carrying capacity. For example, if you possess a +11 bonus to your Sleight of Hand checks, this grants you 11 additional pounds of carrying capacity to your Light, Medium, and Heavy load limits. Temporary bonuses also contribute to this, though if they run out you may find yourself spontaneously over-encumbered!

• Requirements: Ratfolk, HD 5, 20 Experience

Ratfolk are known to carry diseases without much ill effect, and seem to almost enjoy passing it along wherever possible. You may choose one disease for every five Hit Dice you possess, to a maximum of four at HD 20 - you become fully immune to that disease. Additionally, you may choose to deliberately carry that disease upon you - whenever you strike a creature with an unarmed or natural attack, the creature must save separately against every disease you are carrying.

Note: You may carry as many diseases as you wish, you just might not be immune to them…

• Requirements: Ratfolk, 10 EXP

Ratfolk easily crawl amongst and on top of one another without minding it at all. Ratfolk with this Talent may share space with other Ratfolk without any ill effects. If two or more Ratfolk with this Talent occupy the same square, they receive flanking against any target which they both threaten. A maximum of five Ratfolk may occupy the same square.
