Dwarven Racial Talents

Kingdoms rich in ancient grandeur, halls carved into the roots of mountains, the echoing of picks and hammers in deep mines and blazing forges, a commitment to clan and tradition, and a burning hatred of most non-Dwarves – these common threads unite all Dwarvenkind.


Hands of the Forgemaster

  • Requirements: Dwarf, 10 Experience

You may always start a fire with normally flammable material, even if the material is fireproofed, soaking wet, or magically protected, just by touching it with your hands as a Full Round Action. Doing this provokes an Attack of Opportunity.


Foehammer

  • Requirements: Dwarf, 20 Experience

When you select this Talent, choose one of the following races:

When attacking the chosen race with a weapon with the Dwarven trait, you may double your Constitution modifier to damage rolls. You may buy this Talent multiple times, applying to a new race from the list each time.


Natural Sprinters

  • Requirements: Dwarf, 20 Experience

You, like many Dwarves, are very dangerous over short distances. You may triple your base speed when making the Charge action.


Iron Sharpens Iron

  • Requirements: Dwarf, 50 Experience

The craftsmanship of the Dwarves is unmatched. Certain religions hold that your people were carved from the mountains themselves. It is little wonder that Dwarves would surpass the other races of the world in this effort. Dwarves with this Talent gain their total Hit Dice as an untyped bonus to all Craft, Profession, and Artistry skill checks involving any metal or stone.
