The missiles strike unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat or has less than total cover or total concealment. Specific parts of a creature can’t be singled out. Inanimate objects are not damaged by the spell. You gain one missile for every Caster Level you possess, to a maximum of 20 missiles at CL 20. You may have multiple missiles strike a single creature, or you may distribute them amongst creatures within range. You must designate targets before you check for spell resistance or roll damage. This spell counts as [[priority:magic:spells:tier1:magic_missile|]] for any spells, magic items, or abilities that protect against Magic Missile, including a simple [[priority:magic:spells:tier2:shield|]] spell.
