The swirling vortex of hounds occupies a 10 ft. by 10 ft. area, and may directed to move 30 ft. per round, ignoring any difficult terrain. The hounds do not occupy spaces as normal creatures do, and may be moved through freely, even occupying the same square(s) as other creatures. Once per round on your turn, the hounds may make a melee touch attack against an adjacent target of your choice. This attack bonus is equal to your Caster Level, plus your primary casting attribute modifier. If the hounds hit their target, the attack deals 1d6 slashing and fire damage per two CLs, to a maxim of 5d6 at CL 10. If a creature being attacked is sharing space with the hounds, the hounds gain an additional bonus to hit equal to half your CL (to a maximum of +5), and the same bonus to their damage roll. In addition, the hounds may make attacks of opportunity against anyone moving through their threatened squares or through the hounds themselves. They may make a number of attacks of opportunity equal to half your CL (max of 5) per turn. The [[priority:skills:acrobatics|Acrobatics]] DC to move through or around the hounds without provocation is 10 + CL + your Primary Casting Attribute modifier. The hounds do not provide or receive flanking bonuses.
