The halo grants you a bonus equal to your [[priority:magic|CL]]/[[priority:prowess|BaB]] on [[priority:skills:diplomacy|Diplomacy]] checks with good-aligned creatures, and on [[priority:skills:intimidate|Intimidate]] checks with evil-aligned creatures. Additionally, as long as your [[priority:magic|CL]]/[[priority:prowess|BaB]] surpasses the CL of the effect, your halo dispells [[priority:magic:spells:tier2:darkness|]] effects within its area. As a Swift Action, you may choose one target within your line of sight to be the subject of your Smite. If this target is evil, you half of your [[chargen:common_terms#core_stats|CST]] to all attack and damage rolls made against the target of your smite. Regardless of the target, Heavenly Smite attacks automatically bypass any DR or energy resistance the creature might possess.
