A Halfling with this Talent may reduce the difficulty tier **or** gathering rate when gathering mundane Crafting Goods (Magical, Esoteric, and Firearm not included) by one "step," meaning that they may turn a Difficult check into an Average one, or a Long duration into Normal duration, but not both at once.
