Marid Bloodline

You were born with the power of water genies, and the magic of the marids is strong in you.

Bloodline Skill: Knowledge (Planes)

Seaborne (Ex)

Requirements: CST 2, Knowledge (Planes) 4, 10 EXP

Your Marid heritage makes you right at home in the water. You gain the ability to breathe water freely, as Water Breathing, you become immune to the crushing pressure of deep water, and you gain a swim speed equal to 2x your base land speed.


Frosty Terrain (Sp)

Requirements: Seaborne, CST 5, Knowledge (Planes) 8, 15 EXP

As a Half Action, you may spend 2 MP/TP to freeze the surface of a 30 ft diameter area that you can see. Creatures within the area must make a Reflex save (DC 10 + ½ your CL/Prowess + your Primary Attribute modifier) or be slowed (as the spell Slow) for one round. Every round that creatures remain within the area, they must make another saving throw. This frozen terrain lasts for a number of rounds equal to your CL/Prowess.


Elemental Resistances (Ex)

Requirements: Frosty Terrain, CST 10, Knowledge (Planes) 12, 20 EXP

You gain cold resistance 10. At CL/Prowess 10, this increases to cold resistance 20.


Fury of the Waves (Sp)

Requirements: Elemental Resistances, CST 15, Knowledge (Planes) 16, 25 EXP

Once per day, you may take the form of a Large water elemental, as if casting Elemental Body III. This form lasts for a number of rounds equal to your CL/Prowess.


Swift As The River (Su)

Requirements: Fury of the Waves, CST 20, Knowledge (Planes) 20, 30 EXP

Your swim speed increases to 3x your base land speed (regardless of your form). Whilst underwater, you are treated as being under a constant Freedom of Movement effect, and your projectiles and spells are similarly completely unimpeded. You may grant your swim speed to other creatures for one hour by touching them as a Half Action, at will.
