Bloodline Skill: Sense Motive

Waking Dreams

Requirements: CST 2, Sense Motive 3, 10 EXP

Your freely occupy the world of the living and the realm of dreams at once - you remain fully aware when sleeping, suffering no penalty to Perception checks. You may freely take actions or cast spells upon things you could perceive when awake, though you may not make extended checks (such as Craft) whilst sleeping, and you cannot “sleepwalk” away from your position. Additionally, you may use Dream as a Spell-Like Ability once per day, even when asleep.


Lullaby (Sp)

Requirements: Waking Dreams, CST 5, Sense Motive 5, 15 EXP

You become immune to sleep effects, if you are not already. Additionally, you can spend a Half Action to use Lullaby as a spell-like ability once per day. This effect lasts for 1 minute, and does not require concentration.


Visions of the Future (Su)

Requirements: Lullaby, CST 10, Sense Motive 7, 20 EXP

When you sleep, you can gain information through prophetic visions. Once per day when sleeping, you may gain information about actions taken in the next week as if you had cast Divination. You can gain information about a single question per night.


Dreams of Carcosa (Sp)

Requirements: Visions of the Future, CST 15, Sense Motive 10, 25 EXP

Once per month, you may enter a long-term coma-like state of sleep to gain the effects of Legend Lore. Using this Talent always takes exactly 7 days.


Eye of Somnus (Sp)

Requirements: Dreams of Carcosa, CST 20, Sense Motive 15, 35 EXP

You can project your consciousness as if using Arcane Eye (though at no MP cost). The Eye of Somnus possesses darkvision 60 ft., and may see through magical obscuring effects such as illusions or a Fog Cloud, as long as your CL/BaB is higher than the spell effect's caster level - this has no effect on mundane concealment, unless you successfully notice them normally.

In addition, at any point you can cause the arcane eye to become visible. The eye can no longer be moved, but it acts as a Symbol of Sleep to all who see it in this state. You may use this power up to twice per day, and you may use this ability while sleeping.


Solipsism (Ex)

Requirements: Eye of Somnus, CST 25, Sense Motive 20, 50 EXP

You can drift into the dream world, fading from the world around you. You can become incorporeal as a Free Action, at will. While incorporeal, you gain the incorporeal subtype and take only half damage from corporeal magical attacks (you take no damage from nonmagical weapons and objects). Your spells deal full damage to corporeal creatures. Lastly, you may influence objects in the material world normally, up to a weight equal to your CL/BaB. You may remain incorporeal whilst unconscious or asleep, if desired.
