Orichalcum

Orichalcum is a red metal invented by the Meracydians in the First Age. It is made from an Adamantium alloy, infused with the reality-warping power of the Fatestone. The process for this has been lost for millennia, not to mention the Fatestone itself, and thus Orichalcum is both rare and effectively priceless.

Orichalcum equipment is equivalent to Adamantium, and allows for a few unique effects.

• All gear: A creature wearing Orichalcum gear knows of any temporal incursions, gaining the Perfect Timing boon. Orichalcum may be useful against enemies who possess the Sixth Sense.
• MW 3+: A creature wearing Orichalcum gear may join any temporal distortion as Living Paradox.
• MW 5+: Orichalcum was designed to fight the elder dragons of old, and as such confers Dragonbane to all attacks with Orichalcum weapons. This works with staves too for magical purposes.
  • Likewise, Orichalcum armor provides resistance (50% damage reduction) against all dragon attacks.
